The Veterans Review and Appeal Board will resume in-person Review Hearings commencing May 2022.
Offering Veterans, Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) and Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) members, and their families an avenue to appear before decision-makers to provide their testimony and evidence, in accordance with legislation, is an opportunity that the Board is passionate about providing.
Preventative measures being taken by the VRAB in relation to COVID-19 to support its return to in-person hearings include, but are not limited to:
- Two-metre physical distancing
- Hand sanitizing
- Minimal contact enforcement
- Wearing of medical masks or respirators (if clients do not have a suitable mask one will be provided)
- Physical screening prior to entry
- Sanitizing surfaces between hearings
The health and safety of all in-person hearing participants is our top priority. The Board will implement several preventative measures in relation to COVID-19 to support its return to in-person review hearings.
